* Driver’s license exams are given in the Brown County Courthouse at Ainsworth from 8:15 a.m. until noon and from 1 until 4:30 p.m.

* Ainsworth summer band practice, 8:30 a.m.

* BKR Extension Motion Commotion workshop, 10 a.m. at Bassett. Barn quilt workshop, 1 p.m. at Bassett.

* Library Hours: Rock County: 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Ainsworth: 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Keya Paha County: 1 until 5 p.m.

* Ainsworth Senior Center: Bridge and pitch, 1 p.m.

* The Brown County Historical Society Coleman House Museum is open from 1 until 4 p.m.

* Quilt show, 2 until 8 p.m. in The Connection on Main Street. The public is invited to view quilts made in Brown County throughout the years.

* The Landing Zone course that was to be held at Bassett Firehall has been cancelled.

* Ainsworth Does Drove burger feed, and car and motorcycle show at the Elks. Burgers, fries and floats will be served from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. Car check-in is from 5:30 until 7 p.m. People's choice judging and cruising from 7 until 8 p.m., and trophies awarded at 8:30 p.m.

* The Ainsworth Golf Course will not have steak night tonight due to an alumni event in the clubhouse.

* Ainsworth Lions Club alumni banquet work night, 6:30 p.m.

* Ainsworth Alumni class schedules: Class of 1952 meets in the Elks Club. Class of 1957 meets at Bud and Betty McBride's at 10 a.m. to work on the class float, and in the United Methodist Church for dinner at 6:30 p.m. Class of 1962 meets in the Elks Club at 5 p.m. Class of 1967 meets in the Brown County Community Center at Johnstown at 5 p.m. Class of 1972 meets in the Elks Club. Class of 1977 meets at East Chain Lake. Class of 1982 meets in the Brown County Community Center at Johnstown at 8:30 p.m. Class of 1987 meets in the Silver Circle at 7 p.m. Class of 1992 meets at the Daniels Manufacturing lot on Highway 20 in the afternoon to decorate the float, and meets at the Ainsworth Golf Course for dinner. Class of 1997 meets in The Longhorn at 7 p.m. Class of 2002 meets in the Elks Club at 5:30 p.m. Class of 2007 meets at 4 p.m. at the Dave and Deb Zacharias home.

* Bassett Meadow View Club activity night, 7 p.m.

* Direct from Branson, Mo., impersonator Everett Dean will perform in the Brown County Community Hall at Johnstown. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and Dean takes the stage at 9 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.

* Little League baseball schedule: Ainsworth at Atkinson, 7 p.m. O’Neill Diamondbacks at North Central, 7 p.m.

Carpenter Ant Awareness Week. Entrepreneurs Month.

Events

* Ainsworth Theater Fun Run 2017 begins with registration at 7:15 a.m. on Main Street and the run/walk at 8 a.m.

* Holy Rollers bicycle group meets at 9 a.m. at the Ainsworth Conference Center.

* Quilt show, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in The Connection on Main Street. The public is invited to view quilts made in Brown County throughout the years.

* Library Hours: Rock County: 9 a.m. until noon. Ainsworth: 1 until 5 p.m.

* All alumni classes are asked to meet at East City Park at 9 a.m. for photos prior to the alumni parade. All alumni classes are invited to attend the banquet at 6:30 p.m. in McAndrew Gymnasium.

* Ainsworth band members are to meet at East City Park at 9:30 a.m. to prepare for the alumni parade.

* Ainsworth Alumni Parade, 10:30 a.m. traveling from East City Park on Second Street to Main Street. Children may enter their bike in the parade for a chance to win one of four new bicycles supplied by the Ainsworth Volunteer Fire Department.

* The Ainsworth United Methodist Church is hosting a braut and hot dog feed at 11:30 a.m. following the parade in the church fellowship hall for a freewill donation. Everyone is welcome.

* Alumni class gatherings: Class of 1947 will gather for lunch following the parade. Class of 1957 meets for lunch in the United Methodist Church following the parade. Class of 1967 meets in the Duane and Konny Saner home near Long Pine following the banquet. Class of 1972 meets for lunch in the Senior Center. Class of 1977 meets in the home of Rick and Sherry Buoy following the banquet. Class of 1982 meets in the Silver Circle following the banquet. Class of 1987 meets for lunch at Meadville following the parade and meets in the Silver Circle following the banquet. Class of 1992 meets at the Ainsworth Golf Course for lunch following the parade, and is asked to be in McAndrew Gymnasium to assist in banquet preparation by 5:30 p.m. Class of 1997 meets for lunch at noon at the home of Mark and Codi Sedlacek. Class of 2002 meets for lunch in Logan Leach's home following the parade. Class of 2007 meets for lunch at Meadville following the parade.

* Vintage Stock Car Show, 11 a.m. at Stuart Raceway, followed by a vintage race at 2:30 p.m. This is the race that was postponed on Mothers Day in 1956, then again on April 30.

* Life Recovery Group, 5:30 p.m. in the Ainsworth Evangelical Free Church.

* Ainsworth St. Pius X Catholic Church: Mass, 6:15 p.m.
