* The ninth annual Riders Unite for the Fight Against Cancer fund-raiser is being held today, with a Sandhills Iron Horse Riders poker run, horseback trail ride, Sandhills Wheel Car Club event and an ATV/UTV trail ride. The groups meet in the Brown County Community Hall at Johnstown at 5:30 p.m. for a social hour, followed by a freewill donation meal at 6:30 p.m. and silent and live auctions with auctioneer Mike Baxter.
