Program Reminder: Rain has delayed the start of Husker baseball at Iowa and the game will now air at 7:04 p.m. on KBRB AM.

* The Ainsworth Conference Center gym is closed today for Ainsworth prom setup. The walking track remains open.

* The District Music Contest is being held today at West Holt. Area band and choir students are participating. There is no school at West Holt today with the facility hosting the contest.

* A Bargain Buyways rummage sale is being held in the Newport Gym, with proceeds supporting the Newport Community Building and Fire Hall fund.

* The Ainsworth Conference Center gym and walking track are closed today for Ainsworth prom setup.

* Bargain Buyways continues in participating communities along Highway 20 and Highway 12.

* Ainsworth Zion Lutheran Church: Bible study, 9:30 a.m.

* A Bargain Buyways rummage sale is being held in the Newport Gym, with proceeds supporting the Newport Community Building and Fire Hall fund.

* Niobrara National Scenic River is hosting a free Outdoor Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Smith Falls State Park.

* Library Hours: Ainsworth: 1 until 5 p.m. Rock County: 1 until 5:30 p.m.

* The Long Pine American Legion is serving lamb fries, steaks and burgers from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.

* The Stuart American Legion is hosting a fish fry from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. in the Legion Club. Proceeds from the fish fry will be used to help bring the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall to Stuart June 18.

* A benefit dinner and auction for Randy High is planned this evening in the Silver Circle. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. for a freewill donation, followed by the auction at 7 p.m. and Lone Wolf Karaoke.

* Ainsworth St. Pius X Catholic Church: Mass, 6:15 p.m.

* Ainsworth High School Prom is being held tonight, with the banquet at 5:30 p.m. in the Ainsworth Conference Center, followed by the Grand March at 7:30 p.m. in McAndrew Gymnasium, the dance from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. in the Conference Center, and post prom from 12:30 until 4 a.m. in McAndrew Gymnasium.
