* Funeral service for Darlene Jean Jauernig, 76, of Stuart, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, in the Stuart Community Church with burial in the Stuart Community Cemetery. Darlene Jauernig died Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Parkside Manor. Visitation is scheduled from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday in Seger Funeral Home of Stuart with a 7 p.m. prayer service, and from 8:30 a.m. Monday until the time of service in the Stuart Community Church. Survivors include her husband Marvin Jauernig of Stuart; sons Robert Schafer and Deneen Stuart of Stuart, Brant Schafer and wife Lori of Stuart, and Brian Schafer of Stuart; seven grandchildren; sister Carol McBride of Ainsworth; brothers Robert Hoffman of Milaca, Minn., and Daniel Hoffman of Kearney; an aunt, and nieces and nephews.

* Funeral service for Harry K. Buoy, 91, of Bassett, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, in the St. Peter Lutheran Church of Bassett with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery near Rose. Harry Buoy died Sunday, Jan. 12, in the Rock County Hospital at Bassett. Visitation is scheduled from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday in the St. Peter Lutheran Church, and from noon Saturday until the time of service. Survivors include his wife Faye Buoy of Bassett; children Leanne Fox and husband Doug of Bassett, Gary Buoy and wife Daunitta of Burwell, Bonnie Emerson and husband Brad of Bassett, Lonnie Buoy and wife Deb of Bassett, Jerry Buoy of Laurel, and Cindy Norton and husband Todd of Ainsworth; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters-in-law Sylva Buoy of Burwell, Elva Buoy of Long Pine, Darline Blake of Bassett, and Ila Mae Blake of Bassett; nieces, nephews and other family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Rose Community Hall, to the Gracy Fire District, or to the donor’s choice.

* Funeral service for Tom Osborne, 73, of Atkinson, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, in the Atkinson United Methodist Church with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Tom Osborne died Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha. Visitation is scheduled from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday in Seger Funeral Home of Atkinson with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Survivors include his wife Sandra Osborne of Atkinson; children Jerry Osborne and wife Melinda of Atkinson, Doreen Larson and husband Justin of Castle Rock, Colo., Charley Osborne and wife Amanda of Omaha, and Andrew Osborne and wife Crystal of Atkinson; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Rose Swenson of Atkinson; and sister-in-law Ruth Osborne of Dewey, Ariz.

* Funeral service for Homer C. Kenner, 85, of Wood Lake, Jan. 13, in the Ainsworth Church of the Nazarene with burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery at Wood Lake. Homer Kenner died Jan. 8 in the Sandhills Care Center.  Survivors include his wife Clarabelle Kenner of Wood Lake; children Lyle Kenner and wife Gina of Linton, N.D., Sandi Boehr of Florissant, Colo., Paul Kenner and wife Ronda of Wood Lake, and Bryan Kenner of Stapleton; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other family members.

* A private family memorial will be held at a later date for Laura L. Spanel, 58, of Ainsworth. Laura Spanel died Jan. 7 in the Bryan Medical Center East at Lincoln. Survivors include her husband George Spanel of Ainsworth; five step-children; five step-grandchildren; mother-in-law Glenna Abbott of Long Pine; sisters Cindy Groce of Scottsbluff, Barbara Barber and husband Tom of Canyon City, Colo., Julie Robinson and husband Rick of Corpus Christi, Texas, Kathy Renault of Havre, Mont., Pam Taylor and husband Roy Torres of Bridgeport, and Rhonda Tooley of Scottsbluff; and nieces, nephews and other family members.

* A memorial service will be held at a later date for Conrad Budde Jr., 89, of Ainsworth. Conrad Budde Jr. died Jan. 7 in the Brown County Hospital. Survivors include children Michael Budde and wife Debbie of Forest, Va., Ann Lebsack and husband Gary of Conway, S.C., and John Budde and wife Sandy of Severance, Colo.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Helen Boysen of Grand Island; and nieces, nephews and other family members.

* A memorial service for Gerald “Gary” W. Davis, 82, of Ainsworth, Jan. 10, in Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth with a committal service at a later date in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Gary Davis died Dec. 29 in his home. Survivors include his wife Edna Mae Davis of Ainsworth; children Deb Sybrant and husband Allen of Ainsworth, Jim Davis and wife LaTonne of Ainsworth, Mike Davis and wife Ronda of Ainsworth, Shari Davis of Grand Island, and Charles Davis of Ainsworth; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother Paul Davis Jr. of Ainsworth; sister Marjorie Wilkins and husband Chet of Ainsworth; nieces, nephews and other family members.

* A memorial service for Donald R. Stevens, 74, of Verdigre formerly of Ainsworth, Jan. 9, in the Ainsworth Church of the Nazarene with inurnment in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Donald Stevens died Dec. 30 in the Alpine Village Retirement Center at Verdigre. Survivors include brothers Danny Stevens of Lincoln, and Gage Stevens of Franklin; and other family members.

* Funeral service for Garneta J. Johnson, 94, of Rose, Jan. 7, in the Bassett St. Peter Lutheran Church with burial in the Duff Cemetery near Rose. Garneta Johnson died Jan. 2 in the Rock County Hospital. Survivors include sons Richard Johnson of Jackson, Miss., and Jim Johnson and wife Betty of Rose; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other family members.

* A memorial service for Donna Jean Tasler, 86, of Atkinson, Jan. 4, in the Atkinson Good Samaritan Center chapel. Donna Tasler died Dec. 4 in the Atkinson Good Samaritan Center. Survivors include her husband Dewayne Tasler of Atkinson; children Wayne Tasler and wife Linda of Casper, Wyo., Jeanette Tasler of Atkinson, Jerry Tasler and wife Elaine of Atkinson, Debra Kramer and husband Kevin of Lincoln, and Tony Tasler and wife Tammy of Forest Grove, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother Ray Herrington and wife Wanda of Bassett.

* Funeral service for Kenneth C. Millard, 61, of Springview, Jan. 4, in the Springview New Hope Community Church with burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Kenneth Millard died Dec. 27 in his home. Survivors include his wife Debra Millard of Springview; son John Millard and wife Jenna of Volga, S.D.; daughter Amanda Memrick and husband Matt of Belmont, N.C.; two granddaughters; parents Jack and Carol Millard of Grand Island; sister Deborah Kay Van Ert of Fullerton; nieces, nephews and other family members.

* A graveside memorial service for Joanne Gracey, 90, of Ainsworth, will be held at a later date. Joanne Gracey died Dec. 26 in the Brown County Hospital. Survivors include sons Mike Staab and wife Christy of Wellington, Colo., Mark Gracey and wife Debb of Ainsworth, and Cameron Gracey and wife Mona of Wellington, Colo.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other family members.
