* Funeral service for Esther B. Woods, 91, of Ainsworth, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, in Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth with burial in the Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery. Esther Woods died Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the Brown County Hospital. Visitation is scheduled from 8 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service in Hoch Funeral Home. Survivors include daughters Betty Derr of Ainsworth, Sherri Graham and husband Gary of Valentine, and Kathy Woods of Fort Pierre, S.D.; son Kenneth Woods and wife Sharon of Vida, Ore.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Raymond Davis and wife Margaret of Bassett; sister Grace Holcomb of San Antonio, Texas; and nieces and nephews. Timothy Williams passed away Dec. 9, 2014, near Atkinson. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to Saturday's service in the Christ Lutheran Church. Sybrant, 88, of Bassett, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Bassett United Methodist Church with inurnment in the Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Bassett American Legion Post. Lester Sybrant passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, in the Rock County Hospital. There will be no visitation. A time of fellowship for family and friends will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday in Lester Sybrant's home at 615 S. Park St., Bassett. Inurnment in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Floyd Crone passed away Feb. 21 in the Brown County Hospital. A memorial service for Raymond D. Davis, 81, of Ainsworth, Feb. 25, in the Ainsworth Congregational United Church of Christ with military rites conducted by the Ainsworth American Legion Post. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the East Park Cemetery near Ainsworth. Raymond Davis passed away Feb. 21 in the Brown County Hospital. Survivors include his wife Shirley Davis of Ainsworth; daughters Rhonda See and husband Bill of Ainsworth, and Nadine Little and husband Rick of Omaha; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; brother Ralph Davis and wife Mary Lou of Ainsworth; sisters Betty Stewart and husband Lyle of Ainsworth, and Janice Dillon and husband Joe of Glenrock, Wyo.; and nieces and nephews.

* Funeral service for Sidney E. Salzman, 87, of Ainsworth, Feb. 25, in the Ainsworth St. Pius X Catholic Church with burial in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Sid Salzman passed away Feb. 21 in his home. Dorothy Weander died Feb. 14 in the Bryan LGH East at Lincoln. Judy Smith died Feb. 11 in her home. * Funeral service for Samona Snow, 91, of Atkinson, formerly of Ainsworth, Feb. 16, in the Sandoz Chapel of the Pines at Valentine with burial in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Samona Snow died Feb. 6 at Atkinson. Survivors include sons Garland Snow of Kearney and Mel Snow of Slayton, Minn.

* Funeral service for Geneva Michaelis, 92, of Spencer, Feb. 14, in the Spencer Wesleyan Church. Geneva Michaelis died Feb. 9 in the Avera St. Anthony's Hospital at O'Neill.

Rick Lingenfelter died Feb. 11 at his home near Bassett. Bob Zwiebel passed away Feb. 4 at his home. Wayne Cook passed away Feb. 4 in the Avera McKenna Hospital at Sioux Falls, S.D. Ed Schmuecker passed away Feb. 1 in the Atkinson Good Samaritan Center. Rick Stolcpart passed away Jan. 26 in his home. Elmer Vogel passed away Jan. 29 in the West Holt Memorial Hospital at Atkinson. * Word has been received of the death of Samuel E. Privett Sr., 86, of Pollock Pines, Calif. Samuel Privett passed away Jan. 26 at Placerville, Calif. No formal services will be held. Survivors locally include son Allen Privett and wife Laura of Ainsworth, and three grandchildren.

* Funeral service for Orland L. Anson, 83, of Atkinson, Jan. 29, in the Faith Community Church of O'Neill with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery near Atkinson. Orland Anson passed away Jan. 24 in the Bryan LGH at Lincoln. Survivors include his wife Anita Anson of Atkinson; children Robert Anson of Atkinson, Richard Anson and wife Joan of Borrego Springs, Calif., Deborah Brauer of Atkinson, and Rod Anson of Atkinson; 17 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Ron McNally passed away Jan. 9 in the St. Francis Hospital at Columbus, Ga. He was a 1963 Ainsworth High School graduate.
