* A memorial service for Arlene L. Butler, 97, of Bassett, will be held at a later date. Arlene Butler died Tuesday, Feb. 21, in the Parkside Manor at Stuart. Survivors include daughter Carol Yaw of Bassett; sons Mike Butler and wife Connie of Florence, Ariz., Terry Butler and wife Julie of Arnold, and Dan Butler of Bassett; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral service for Paul Irwin, 86, of Neligh formerly of Ainsworth, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, in the Ainsworth Zion Lutheran Church with burial at 2:30 p.m. in the O’Neill Cemetery and military rights to be conducted by the O’Neill American Legion Simonson Post 93 and VFW Post 926. Paul Irwin died Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the Antelope County Hospital at Neligh. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to the time of service Monday in the Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife Donna Irwin of Ainsworth; daughter Paula Naber and husband Todd of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Evelyn Allen of Bassett, Bonnie Osborne and husband Ed of Larned, Kan., and Mary Bidner of Prince George, Canada; sister-in-law Joan Irwin of Ainsworth; and nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

* A memorial service for Leslie Dean "Les" Farris Jr., 65, of Ainsworth, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, in the Ainsworth United Methodist Church with inurnment in the Ainsworth Cemetery with military rites performed by the Ainsworth American Legion Post 79. Les Farris died Monday, Feb. 20, in the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha. There will be no visitation. Survivors include daughter Lezlie Farris-Chimienti and husband Frank of Rockville Centre, N.Y.; son Joshua Farris and wife Ashley of Omaha; six grandchildren; and cousins and other family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family for future designation.

* Funeral service for Wayne G. Kinzie, 90, of Butte, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in the Butte Community Bible Church with burial in the Butte Cemetery. Wayne Kinzie died Sunday, Feb. 19, in the Butte Health Care Center. Visitation is scheduled from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday in the Community Bible Church. Survivors include sons Gary Kinzie and Coralene of Ainsworth, Terry Kinzie of Plains, Mont., and Craig Kinzie and wife Janet of West Des Moines, Iowa; daughter-in-law Sherill Kinzie of Homer; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

* Funeral service for Marcella E. Welke, 95, of Sterling Heights, Mich., formerly of Wood Lake, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth with burial in the Ainsworth Cemetery. Marcella Welke died Sunday, Feb. 19, at Sterling Heights. Visitation is scheduled from 8:30 until the time of service Saturday in Hoch Funeral Home. Survivors include daughter Rita Sierra of Sterling Heights, Mich.; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sandhills Cancer Fund.

* Funeral service for Blain Larson, age 63, of Schuyler, Feb. 23, in the St. Augustine’s Catholic Church of Schuyler. Blain Larson died Feb. 19 in the Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha.

Leslie Graff died Feb. 10 in the Rose Lane Home at Loup City. Charlie Fuller died Jan. 30 in the CHI Good Samaritan Hospital at Kearney. Donald Hadan died Tuesday, Feb. 7, in the Nebraska Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Omaha.  Survivors include his wife Nancy Hadan of Omaha; children Shelly Holman of Lincoln, Jeff Hadan and wife Diann of Grand Island, Craig Hadan of Pflugerville, Texas, Kelly Sybrant and husband Jim of Bassett, Susan Hadan of Petaluma, Calif., Libby Hadan of Fremont, Amy Hadan-Murray and husband Spencer of San Francisco, Calif., and Mindi Hadan-Westra and husband Pete of Uvita, Puntarenas, Costa Rica; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Barb DeRiese and husband Dale of Lincoln, and Shirley Schneurle and husband Neil of Bloomington; and nieces and nephews.

Amber Frerichs died Feb. 4 from injuries suffered during a motor vehicle accident near Amherst. Marvin Reynolds died Jan. 24 in the Rock County Hospital Long Term Care. * Funeral service for Lonnie Lee Wewel, 75, of Stuart, Jan. 30, in Seger Funeral Home of Stuart with burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Lonnie Wewel died Jan. 24 in the Avera McKennan Hospital at Sioux Falls, S.D.  Survivors include his wife Patti Wewel of Stuart; daughters Holly Phillips and husband Steve of Burwell, and Terri and husband Chet of Viborg, S.D.; and two grandchildren.

Gale Graham died Jan. 22 in the CHI Bergan Mercy Hospital at Omaha. Survivors include his wife Brenda Graham of Omaha; children Sherry Deuell of Glen Burnie, Md., and Steven Graham of Neligh; mother Alice Graham of Springfield, S.D.; three sisters and one brother.

Dr. Don Bailey died Jan. 24 in the Norfolk Veterans Home.

Doris Weddel Olson died Jan. 22 in the Pine View Good Samaritan Center at Valentine.
